Description

The Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Grid provides the client-side scrollToItem() method that allows you to programmatically scroll the Grid to a specified row (data item). This functionality is useful when the Grid must initially display a specified row or when the user must automatically navigate to a row based on certain logic being triggered.

This demo shows two different Grids where you can scroll to a specific item with a button click:

  • Scrollable Grid—Scroll to a row by passing the ID of the data item to the scrollToItem() method.
  • Virtual Scrollable Grid—Scroll to a row in a Virtual Scrolling Grid, which is not loaded yet by passing the ID of the data item and a callback function to the scrollToItem() method.

This Grid example is part of unique collection of hundreds of ASP.NET Core demos, with which you can see all Telerik ASP.NET Core components and their features in action.
