ASP.NET Core PivotGrid Local Data Binding

The Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core PivotGrid control supports local data binding which processes and creates a cube representation (configuration).

To implement local data binding, you need to return a data collection from the Controller to the View and bind the model by using the built-in BindTo() configuration method.

For example:

1. Add a Model representation of the data.
2. Obtain the existing records and map them to the previously defined Model incarnation.
3. Pass them into the View
4. Use the .BindTo() configuration method to bind the Model.

This example showcases how to populate the PivotGrid with local flat data and also features filtering and sorting of rows and columns. To sort the PivotGrid rows and columns, click on the fields in the headers or the field menu, or use the PivotGrid Configurator.
