Description
The Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core ComboBox is a component that displays a list of values and allows a single selection from these items.
The current demo shows a basic use-case scenario of two ComboBoxes which display list items and prompt the user to select the desired values.
The ASP.NET Core ComboBox control is part of Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core, a professional-grade UI library with 110+ components for building modern and feature-rich web applications. The UI for ASP.NET Core ComboBox is a server-side wrapper for the Kendo UI for jQuery ComboBox component and supports an HtmlHelper and a TagHelper mode.
Functionality and Features
- Data-binding modes—The ComboBox provides the AJAX binding, server binding, custom data binding, and model binding modes.
- Appearance and styling—You can use an easier way of modifying the ComboBox appearance which helps to avoid the need of manually overriding the CSS styles of the component.
- Grouping—You can bind the ComboBox to a grouped data source.
- Templates—You can define Kendo UI Templates for the items, header, and empty data source ComboBox elements.
- Client and server filtering—You can filter the ComboBox data both on the client and server side.

- Cascading ComboBoxes—You can also filter a series of ComboBoxes according to the values selected in the previous instance.
