Description
The Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core PDFViewer component enables end-users to review PDF files directly within the browser without the need to perform download operation at first hand. The component also provides flexibility to choose the PDF framework that is to be used for processing the file, allowing you to work with either PDFjs or the Telerik Document Processing libraries.
The current example displays a common use-case scenario for a PDFViewer component which loads an arbitrary PDF file using the PDFjs client-side library
The ASP.NET Core PDFViewer control is part of Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core, a professional-grade UI library with 110+ components for building modern and feature-rich web applications. The UI for ASP.NET Core PDFViewer is a server-side wrapper for the Kendo UI for jQuery PDFViewer component and supports an HtmlHelper and a TagHelper mode.
Functionality and Features
- PDFjs processing—If you have not explicitly configured a processing configuration, the PDFViewer will use the PDF.js library.
- DPL processing—You can use the Telerik Document Processing library for PDF processing on the server side.
- Toolbar and tools—The PDFViewer provides a built-in toolbar which enables you to control the number and type of the rendered tools by initializing the items collection only with the tools that you consider as mandatory.
- Accessibility—The PDFViewer is accessible for screen readers, supports WAI-ARIA attributes, and delivers keyboard shortcuts for faster navigation.
